Ah, yes, it's that day again. That wonderful, joyful day where my brain can just unload.
*The first time I ever saw the category "Potpourri" on Jeopardy when I was a kid, I wondered what kind of questions they could ask about the smelly stuff my mom kept in a bowl on the table. I was young, cut me some slack.
*No matter how many times I tell him the word is "instructions" Indy still calls them "destructions." I'm starting to think he might be on to something there though.
*I have a freaking heel spur! WHAT? It hurts like a beeyotch, I tells you. I know it's because I've been wearing flat shoes too much lately. Stupid working out. Fortunately, it doesn't hurt as much in heels (because my weight is on the the ball of my foot, instead of my heel), so my cute shoes can still be worn. Still.
*I'm not so sure about the whole moving to WordPress business. It's really complicated. And kind of scary. I'm still mulling.
*Indy got a bunch of spy gear from O'Pa (my dad) for his birthday and I'm thinking of making him take it all to O'Pa's house next summer so he can get a taste of it. It is driving me mad. He has this little voice changer things that is like nails on a chalkboard to me. Thanks dad.
*As I typed the above, he recorded "We are not home right now, leave a message beeeeeeeeeeeeeeep" and is now playing it over and over in the slow range then the Alvin and the Chipmunks range. I keep telling myself it's too early to drink.
*I"m so happy that fall is finally, well, falling across Germany. It was a bloody hot summer and I will not miss it. Plus, I get to decorate for fall! YAY!
*M does not share my love of redecorating. Boo to him.
*The average porcupine has over 30,000 quills.
*Do you ever fear that you'll overload your brain? I do. And then what? WHAT?
*I worry that I'm over watering my succulents. Can you do that? I don't know.
*Kidneys filter on average 500 gallons of blood per day. <---I read that, but I'm not sure it could possibly true. You think? I guess I could look it up, but I'm too lazy. If anyone does, let me know.
*And finally, because my battery is low and I don't feel like going to get my power cord, here's your random funny sign for the week:
I wish I knew where that was.
Now go over to Kat's and check out the other randomness.

Heel spurs suck!
Hope yours heels soon.
Personally, I'm more of a blogger fan than a wordpress fan.
Have a great Tuesday.

What do they mean by hooking? Because it the picture it looks like it is saying no having sex in a vehicle. If that is what hooking is I may have to add something to my resume....
I'm laughing at your weird sign! That is funny! I'd like to steal it and put it up in the high school parking lot - for kicks!
Wordpress? That does sound like a scary move.
Love your random! Have fun with the spy equipment!
You can overwater succulents and rot them. I have a WordPress blog too and it is complicated which is why I don't use it so much.
We call my grandfather O'pa. :)
That spy set would drive me nuts. I would accidentally send it to Salvation Army, I think. ;)
You CAN over water succulents! My mum told me they only need a little water once per week. A certain ex-blog-friend of mine watched my house in June while I was away and succeeded in killing all of mine.
I am so so happy about fall too! The hot weather kills me, I'm a colder climate sort of gal. Plus the little boy looks much cuter in rain gear than he does in summer clothes!
So glad you can still wear your heels...I don't know if I could
continue living my life w/o my sexy shoes! ;)
I'm pretty sure I have overloaded my brain before...no pretty.
I'm still waiting for fall but hope it comes soon!
Don't let the spy gear drive you too insane! And in my book it's NEVER too early to drink lol
I LOVE that sign lol. And it's never too early to drink :-)
I'm on self-hosted Wordpress and I wouldn't have it any other way!
another contribution for your thoughts:
"Pot Pourri" in French mean Rotten Pot. I always wondered why English used that term for something that was suppose to make the house smell good. Cause if we refer to the name, it shouldn't smell good at all! ;-) Just a thought
I can't think about the organs and processes going on inside. That freaks me out.
I love that sign. How did that get approval?
Heel spur ? Boo. Cocktail to the rescue. Won't fix your heel, but will your spirit.
And potpourri? HAHAHA.
And Yankee Girl's comment made me crack up too. She is awesome.
Heel spur?? Never heard of it. Sounds dirty....in a fun way.
I have had the worst issues with wordpress on my work blog this year--i hate it and it hates me. Blogger is like a nice back rub compared to Wordpress. Stay with what you know, I say!
Spygear!! FUN!!!!! :)
oh I have a neuroma on my foot - suckage! I thought of moving to wordpress too - but I know blogger so well good luck
Hi there - stopping by from SITS! What part of Germany are you in? My husband and I were just there last week and had a great time! My cousin has lived there over 20 years and refuses to come back to the states - he too, was in the Armed forces years ago, which is what took him there to begin with. On another note - we TOO are HUGE Cubbie Fans! WOOP WOOP!!! Have a great day! Hugs, Trac~ :o)
I need that sign. I have to have it.
