Meta Monday: Entry

So, it's Metamorphosis Monday again! Today we'll be checking out my entry way. You may remember it from my post back in Nov (I'm too lazy to look it up). If you don't remember, here's a photo of what it looked like when we moved in. Boring. White. Blah.

After a coat of paint, some moulding, some wall words, and other various items, here it is today (from the doorway you see in the above photo):

The closest I showed you last week (again, too lazy to pull the link, just scroll if you want to see it) is in the entry. The door that is closed leads to our bedroom, but I haven't really done anything in there (yet) so we''ll just keep it closed shall we?

This shot is looking to the living room, but I don't want you to see that room yet. We'll save it for another Meta Monday. Plus it's a huge mess.

I actually have some more stuff to do in here (more photos to hang around the "FAMILY" words, but I haven't gotten to them yet. I hope you like it and find it warm and welcoming. Thanks for taking a peek.

Wow! It doesn't even look like the same space. It's so welcoming. Love the wall color.

A lovely transformation. That color is absolutely gorgeous! I like the tall buffet lamp, too, near the mirror. The entry looks so much bigger now than in the first shot. Wonderful! -- Cass

You did a great job. I like the words on the wall. My wife has done that in a couple of places in our house and it just gives it a nice flare. Adds comfort to the area and a peace. Looks very inviting. Steve -French Cupboard

Hi I also love high heals.
Your transformation is a WOW.
May I please say one thing without offending you?
The stripes on your background? I had a hard time reading your posts. Just to let you know. I hope you don't mind.
I also LOVED ABBA and reading the first Twilight book.
Happy MET Monday
Love Claudie
P.S. I'll take those boots for a mere $987 lol

Claudie, it must not have loaded right for you. The stripes are supposed to be covered by a green band where the actual post is. Sorry you had a hard time reading it but thanks for stopping by.

Thanks for stopping by to see my bathroom redo. Your hall looks wonderful, and I scrolled through some older posts and saw your organized closet and your pretty kitchen - well done. I also enjoyed your advice for Americans in Europe. As a former French teacher I have travelled greatly in France and can give a hearty "Amen" to everything you had to say. You got it sister! Linda

Hi and it's so nice to meet you! I love your saying on your header - Life's too short to wear ugly shoes! That is just too cute! Now your entry looks like it is in another house! It's so lovely. Again, paint and some pretties can really make a difference! Great Job!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

So much better than the bland white walls!!

I absolutely LOVE your hardwood flooring -- it's very unique and has so much character. It looks like it goes all the way through the main floor of your house??

Thanks for checking out my Met Monday post. Happy to hear that you enjoyed reading it :-)

How can i wipe windows xp from my laptop and reinstall windows Me -the laptops first software?
I be struck by recently bought a used laptop that is old. The person I had bought it from had installed windows xp on it, even though it from the word go came with windows Me. I be to oust the windows xp because it runs slows on the laptop because it takes up more thought than the windows Me would. Also I need to remove windows xp because it is an wrongful copy. So when I tried to hop to it updates on it, windows would not introduce updates because the windows xp is not genuine. actuator calibrate 1998 bravada
