So as you know, Indy did not know where we were going. M had him convinced we were going hiking in the mountains. Indy even packed his little binoculars so he could go bird watching. It was so cute. We got to the hotel late Wed night (actually 3am Thursday morning-long story) and he was asleep. Unlike WDW (Walt Disney World), DLP (Disneyland Paris) does not have Mickey slapped on practically everything insight. In fact, except for the soaps in the bathroom, there was nothing to indicate that we were in Disney. We hid the soaps in a drawer and the next morning told Indy to open it up. When he saw the soaps he knew where we were. He was overjoyed. Seriously. The hugging and kissing lasted many minutes. I'm so glad we waited. The look on his face was totally worth it.
It was so much fun, but freezing! Freezing! The highs were in the mid-upper 30's. Brrrrrrr. We bundled up and went out in search of fun.
Me and Indy outside the gate of the Magic Kingdom. There is a hotel built into the gate. I so want to stay there, but it is tres expensive.
Indy just inside the gate.
That's a huge tree!
Goofy Santa!
Waiting in line. Brrrrrrrr!
My little knight.
The next Arthur?
The castle decorated for the holidays.
Wooooooooo! Mommy did NOT ride anything that spins.
Me and Indy with Mike and Sully. Monsters, Inc. is one of my favorite Disney movies.
Indy and Donald.
More spinning!
See my hand? I'm trying to keep Indy from jumping out of the train in his excitement.
Skull Island!
We really had fun despite the frigid temps. Check back for posts about the food (oh, the food!) and the "fashions." Believe me, I took some priceless pics.
You are so lucky, that looks like so much fun. We are really over due on a Disney vaca. We live only like 4 1/2 hours away so we really don't have a good excuse. Glad to see you had fun.
ReplyDeleteDisney does know how to keep everybody happy. I love Paris DL so much.
